At&t is just a terrible company over all. there 4G is pretty 3G-ish
I have u-verse(mum wanted to save $$$) and it is loving terrible. we have good up and down speeds according to speed test(12d,2u), but ever since we got wireless cable boxes the internet has turned into stuff. Also there HD channels aren't as HD as Dish or others. There mandatory router/modem combo is also a huge pile of stuff. I want to convince my mother to switch to xfinity, but i know that wont happen.
