The problem with that article was calling it DLC. They should have called it a "GAME UPDATE".

It's out now, I've played it, it's fun. Worth buying for classic mode alone to experience old AOS with no lag and really cool looking graphics.

classic mode only has a rifle and a grenade
building tool, shovel

that's it.
Other mode has a selection between alternate ones

This is because it's based off the very first versions of AOS before there was a shotgun or an smg.

The rifle was the best weapon in the versions of AOS that had shotguns and smgs anyway so who cares
