But that's pretty much why he's so awesome - he's so passionate about what he does, you can tell he's just loving amazed by all of it.

When I first looked at that picture of him meeting Brian Cox, I thought he was Miranda Hart :o

His TV work is only a small part of what he does. He is a very intelligent particle physicist who lectures at Manchester university, works on ATLAS at CERN and is a fellow of the royal society.
The lecture I was in last night was inspirational - how Britain is and always has been the best place in the world to do science.
