Isn't that the whole premise of video games?
To provide something that's new and fun?

And in 10 years I'll doubt controllers will be the way they are now. Unless you mean literally going back to older consoles.

What have you used in the past 20 years?Do i need to tell you the answer...sure the controller has changed and evolved but its still a controller, remember the virtual boy bullstuff that came out in the 90's??!?!?!That is a perfect example for the gimmicky stuff you guys fall for..... the same people like you fell for the kinect crap....the same people like you fell for that stupid ps eye camera on ps2...

AND SURE MAYBE THERE WILL BE SOMETHING THAT REPLACES "CONTROLLERS" BUT IT CERTAINLY WONT BE THE BULLstuff THERE PROVIDING WITH US NOW(move, kinect, etc.)

Then controllers will continue to change and evolve. Even more so because technology is far faster than it was 20 years ago.

I don't know how I suddenly fall for a gimmick when i get a system that I like to game on.

And you relies its not going to replace controllers and its not the future of gaming like they say in a commercial and you abandoned it in a few years nothing is wrong to have fun with a gimmick but don't tell me its going to replace controllers... i hear that bullstuff every generation...man im glad the movie industry dose not do stupid stuff like that like the gaming industry dose lol...

Of course I'm not going to play the same system I was years ago.

I'm moving on to the next biggest thing.

I don't see how this is different from any game system that uses traditional controllers because theirs changes like any other device. We don't keep the same controllers we did 7 years ago because they just "stuck"

BUT you do use the physical keyborard and the controller... don't say just because the design on the controller is changed dose not mean its NEW...thats like saying kinect 2.0 and kinect are different... Do you think we  will keep the ps eye and or move like the controller?

No but we do keep the controllers right?Do you think we  will keep the ps eye and or move like the controller?
Yes probably. It gets refined like every other bit of technology. Motion control devices don't become perfect overnight and neither did controllers. The more time gaming companies spend on other ways of gaming the better it gets, which is the concept of advancing good things so that they become even better.

No, I'm not a scrub anymore and I will just spend the $300 on a Video Card instead to boost me up to the new generation.

Nope, never been a fan of playstation (since PS2 lol) but now more than ever I am pretty much completely over gaming in general, so there's no chance I'd spend a wad of cash on it.

normal gaming over gimmicks for kids..
Please. Gimmicks are good for technological advancement.
