Author Topic: I think I have Nyctophobia  (Read 1078 times)

like you sit here now and you know there was nothing out there. and you know tonight there will be nothing out there.

but when tonight comes, you will forget that you believe that and you forget how to convince yourself of that logic again.
It's rational to fear the unknown. Not to a debilitating point that the OP was describing, but to a certain survival aspect.

I've always had this feeling.
I've felt like "you know who that starts with an S ends with a fork" is always teleporting the forget around me.
Sfork?

Slenderfork?

Forks?

I stalk around your bushed at night.

I'm kinda like this and my sister is very much so
I have to be aware of my immediate surroundings, which is why I'll tend to be in corners

Funny, there is this back room in my basement (my "man cave" is in the basement") and theres a hole in the wall right by the stairs. So when you are heading upstairs you can see through the hole into the pitch blackness of the back room. When I was little I used to leave the "man cave" and sprint upstairs because I always thought there was something in the backroom watching haha

You know that feeling you get when you're unlocking your front door at midnight or something similar to it and you feel like something is right behind you, ready to kill you or chase you? That's a pretty neat feeling. Even though I like to consider myself a mentally sound person, that still freaks me out from time to time.
