Author Topic: Blockland popping up in the younger generations?  (Read 3164 times)

Everyone I talk to about it asks what the maps are like and what you can do on them- I tell them there aren't any maps except for flat ground.
They ask what the graphics are like. I tell them they're pretty good considering the old engine, but that there is still no anti-aliasing, and the shadows aren't compatible on alot of computers (intel), and they lag very bad if you try to have shadows of the equivalent quality of Battlefield 3.

Nobody I tell to about Blockland has any interest in trying the game. It's sad.

why don't you tell them it's got the most user-friendly system of complex interaction like ever
(events)
I mean, gmod for example has Wire, but that's a lot more complicated
one of the biggest selling points for me on this game would be events. yet I don't ever see it advertised D:
it's super unique, really easy to learn, and very fun
but everyone still just calls it a lego game

in highschool this guy saw me browsing the blockland forums and told me that he played.

I told him my user name and he made a smirk and never talked to me again

literally a true story
douchebag of the year

My Nephew plays Roblox and Minecraft, I don't really want to tell him Blockland exists.

Blockland is Minecraft for Intelligent people.

Blockland is Minecraft for Intelligent people.
however this comparison is for stupid people

so that's how you found out? or was it you?

if it wasn't you omg you should have found out who did that

I found out from a friend, and then another friend and myself put them in the lab.

In computer app, I downloaded roblox on all our computers. I told everyone to make an account and come play my game. I gave myself script builder GUI and started spraying my godly powers amongst my classmates. Best 56 tix/5mins of my life.

I walked into the media center one day and saw someone playing blockland

Too bad he was a total cigarette, people who play video games in the media center during lunch are so handicapped

I started during my Elementary school years. I was in 6th grade and was 11. My friends are aware of the game, but haven't played it. One found Roblox before Blockland, the other insists that Minecraft is the greatest game ever and nothing can stop it.

the only person i know who plays blockland is one of my good friends i introduced it to

probably because i go to a 90% asian school where league is popular

At my brother's school, they have a large TV just for watching League of Legends and cheering for teams.

I've tried showing the game to my friends at school during a class that we have access to laptops, but the stuffty laptops lag to the point that the game looks to be bad quality, then they say it's just like Minecraft.  I don't get why they make that comparison, it looks nothing like Minecraft, they don't even think of Lego.
