i don't have any other place to put this and i'm sorry but i really hate lightning
I thought up of a good brown townogy to describe Lightning's personality. Angry, shallow clouds produce lightning. To me and a lot of people, Lightning is Cloud, but designed to be feminist bait. I always hear the bullstuff "you just don't like female characters in your games" excuse, which if you knew me some of my favorite characters are female. (Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite FF and Terra is one of my most favorite characters.) Hell, the Cloud outfit hammered the nail in the coffin for me, Cloud crossdressing was more of a convincing character to me than Lightning and he'd probably play just the same role that Lightning would. She wears less and less clothing each game and I could swear the designer of her made her his waifu. I'm also sorry if this is rude, well it couldn't be taken otherwise, but I thought the ending the Lightning Returns was terrible. I won't spoil it but I thought it was terrible because it was just visually pleasing magic and I could not be less invested in any of the characters.
