That's backwards as forget.
it's the way they are set up i can't set it up for my PC (i don't have a controller so i use my keyboard) and they crash a lot.

It seems every once in a while it has spikes when it plays normally, no lag at all. These spikes only last for around a second at most, and don't happen too often
I feel like something's holding it back.

Dolphins a hard thing to debug, You sorta just need to mess with all of the settings and see what improves it.

And then sadly admit the game just won't work decently on your pc and cry (f-zero gx, sniff)
