Author Topic: Is it really worth it to buy a new console?  (Read 2094 times)

Fun is defined by the person. Say he's a more casual gamer. Casual games generally have larger playerbases on consoles than PC. BF Hardline, for example.
I don't see how Battlefield: Hardline is a casual game

that all depends on how you qualify a casual game, i guess. i would say the only casual games are phone games and multiplayer party games like Mario Cart and the like.

I think the way he means it though is that it's a mainstream, yearly release game with a lot of players. And what he says is true, games like that generally have smaller PC playerbases as opposed to console.

not really, I live in mexico

here they cost 400 dollars, the lowest they get, is to 380 dollars from what I ve seen

I think theres a date when they get down to 350
I probably should've stated, the price I was talking about was for a secondhand Xbox One. If you want one that's brand new I know that sometimes they have those deals where they go down to $350. If you really feel like spending that much on it is worth it then go for it.

I was about to question Derontchi too, but when you put it like that it makes a lot more sense.

only buy a console if you have a lot of friends that play it too.

And are happy to pay for their online subscriptions.

Buying a console is like only bringing a knife to war. Its way behind the times and you will regret it as soon as the next console is released with no backwards compatibility for another 500 dollars. Consoles which have no games because they fight over exclusive titles like little bitches who can't stay afloat without drowning someone else.

Buy the thing that your friends play. If you have no friends buy a gaming PC.

sieg hiel to the master race

If you're going to buy a console, let it be the Wii U. There really isn't anything worthwhile to get on a console that you can't get on PC. Might as well just get a better PC tbh.

Hella no! PC master race guy! Consoles nowadays are just useless money vacuums. Wouldn't bother with it.
