pretty recently kalphiter released his own blockland beta thing to a few individuals.
Now, don't get me wrong, I really love Blockland. I've spent so much time over the years playing the game and trying all it has to offer, and it's probably the best game out there for what it aims to do.
But I really don't get how anyone can be that obsessed and absorbed in it that they think they have to make their own version of it, because they don't like the developer/development of Blockland itself.
If I suddenly came to dislike Blockland, or feel disconnected from its community or let down by Badspot, I'd simply move on to another game.
I wouldn't sit in a corner of another website crying about Blockland, and spending my spare time making a clone of it.
What's wrong with these people?
