I wouldn't put too much stock into what Foxscotch thinks. He's pretty well known for being argumentative over the dumbest points sometimes.

Go on the game around night time I suppose, search through some servers with players with lower BLID's. Ask them if they're interested in building stuff together. Maybe at a later date. Stuff like that.

You could go to the gallery board, and message some of them and ask if they're interested in building with you. Just be open minded when building because most people here want it their way. So they might say "nah just delete it" to certain things you may build.

it's not about being "too old to play a game," it's about being too old to spend time around kids you don't know on the internet
I'm sure that he, as a parent, can see what the problem is with a 31 year old guy playing a video game with many kids that are twelve and under
idk what kinda servers he's playing on, but if it's any of the popular ones, there's gonna be people in that age group. and it's freaky, even if it's completely innocent

Why do you have a problem with this? On most games you will find lots of different people from very young to very old. It literally doesn't matter.

In fact, the older people often contribute more to the community.

Blockpartys are usually a good way, you will end up sharing boundary's with other people and collaborating usually makes everything better

Back in 2013 I made some friends in freebuild servers and those friends would introduced me to their friends. After a while we had out own little friendship circle that would play and build together. Even though we were pretty mediocre builders it was fun building and hanging out with each other.
You can probably do the same too!
