We intend to do this by making an ad-revenue and optional membership funded RTB, so we do not rely on donations.

This is going to be flawed from the start because one of RTB's main selling points was that you didn't have to buy it. Pun intended.

I'm sure most people will stick to Daprog's version, which includes the chat and other various features RTB has, unless you manage to do something super whizz bang amazing.

Just my thoughts, not saying you can't do it that way, just that you're going to be at a severe disadvantage as people have already ported most of RTB not including the add-on system, and there are archives for that. Good luck, you guys.

No petition or amount of money will bring RTB back. Ephialtes left, and took along all the server-side with him. If he had intentions to carry the project on or let it be revived, he would have released that.

There's several puppet versions of RTB and attempts to bring it back, none of which are very good.

There's Blockland Glass, which is a project to create a replacement.
