Did you change the video type? Fullscreen and Widescreen are the options, I have some crazy window size stuff happen and changing those helped

Also don't mess with the video type (or whatever that option is called). It should be set to opengl.

i honestly wouldnt hate the SDK for this game if i could just know the grid sizes in hammer through the viewports rather than a tiny number at the bottom of the screen
