Except Starbound is a game that still gets sales because it's available as a playable game and not just a pre-order but the devs can't be forgeted to ever finish it past minor updates.
This is a game that isn't released and therefore won't get most of its sales until it's actually available to be played. Stop comparing this to loving Starbound, it's not even remotely the same.
I'm not saying it's going to end up a good game, but it's a completely different scenario.
