The quality of tumblr substantially decreased once Yahoo bought tumblr. They really don't give a forget about the userbase. Ive seen multiple artist's blogs get nuked/deleted for no apparent reason (and when they emailed tumblr asking why, they would not respond). In tandem with that, starfishs can just mass-report blogs they don't like and the automated system will just destroy the blog, with very VERY little chance of you being able to get it back (again, emailing tumblr gets you nowhere). Also NSFW artists have so little chance to be found because they changed how NSFW material/blogs can be found, if at all.
