Author Topic: Friend can't join server, challenge request and punch packet errors  (Read 1418 times)

I'm not sure why, but no matter what, my friend can't join my server, I've port forwarded and everything but nothings working.
What do i do?

Is anyone else able to join?

If not, you might have set up port forwarding wrong, or missed some steps. Use http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to see if your blockland ports are open. I've known it to give false readings but its worth trying, especially if it shows them as open.

After that check your OS firewall, antivirus firewalls, and the router firewall, if it has one.

All i'm getting is a Connection Timed Out error, all my firewalls allow Blockland and such.
How do i set up my port forwarding correctly?

Find out what router you have and follow the guide.
Make sure you give your computer a static IP or you will have to redo the port forwarding every time your computer gets a new IP.

Also, turn off UPnP in Blockland as well as your router if it supports that.

Tried both, but nothing.

I'm having the same issue, but in my issue, its possibly because of my switch to a cable router to a wireless one. What do?

Are you using the same make of router? If you switched to a new one there might be new protocols you need to change.

Theres about 4 trillion port forwarding guides, use them to exhaust every possible option, its not worth anyones time to help you 1 on 1.

No, I am not, and I dont know how to change the protocols.

Look up a port forwarding guide for your new make of router, make sure there's no additional steps you might have missed
