they're cardboard cutout disney movies made to sell toys, and the only reason people can conjure up to call them stuff is the average reactionary dogwhistles because the only people who like to talk about how much they hate a movie are coincidentally morons

plus star wars fans hate star wars anyways, it's not like anyone complaining in this thread could've enjoyed a new star wars movie anyways

I could've if it would try to move away from the loving Luke saga already. There is plenty of spin-off material that is just ripe and juicy with exceptional plot. I'm not really much of a star wars fan, but man does KOTOR, Jedi Knight, Republic Commando and Clone Wars get me into the extended universe of star wars.

As far as the critics go, I can tell you there are many good points that they make. I posted 3 videos last time from E;R who does really good critical breakdowns of the movies with a comedic spin to keep us through the 40 mins. If you really want to go insult people, just tell the people who attempt to even defend the new movies with "tl;dr" to the critics that they are a bunch of brainlets.

i feel like people who come up to me to deliver their hot take on the new star wars films never have anything interesting to say, they're just parroting what another, more eloquent reviewer said about the films. to be fair, that's not necessarily their fault because anyone who reads a review of X will unconsciously repeat what that review said when they talk about X, but still. i dont watch movies for their characters i watch them for their action. this is why i watch clone wars the tv series because of all the awesome lightsaber battles and suspenseful scenarios they come up with

that show was the stuff when i was 10
