integrated graphics on modern games is a terrible idea.
games get better and better, yet the years roll by and integrated cards for some reason never improve.
that is why a 300 dollar laptop isn't a gaming computer.
and for some reason i don't really understand, laptops alone already make for worse gaming JUST because they are laptops.
it could be vista's fault, but not because of memory usage, only dipstuffs believe that.
its the
processes and
services vista has running on default.
google them up and find out what ones you dont need. disable the ones you dont need/want.
This is on the lowest resolution on all low settings running in a window
for god's sake dont run games in window'ed. that's likely whats causing bad frames anyway. games dont treat memory the same as just any app active window. your comp might be keeping all the memory on the desktop use, thinking your not even playing a game, but instead running a little app.
