Pyro is obviously a crazy, obese canadian guy!  Or he could be an alien?  When the pyro gets gibbed, his (because i'm not convinced pyro is female) gas mask stays on his supposed head.  Maybe the mask is his head?

I think the Pyro is simply from [undefined]. 
That Korean gas mask looks awesome as a prop. Might look in to getting one.

i looked at one of the British gas masks, i i thought one looked like his mask, check out the British gas masks

The spy is french. That should be obvious, due to the fact that he said "Aah, my petite chou-fleur." at the end of Meet The Spy, which means "small cauliflower". Weird, huh?

I talked to my French teacher about that, she said it actually meant, literally, Short (or small) cabbage. If you take some of the stuff we call people we love out of context, it can sound weird too. But yeah, she said it was a mildly common thing to call someone in France.

I doubt it's an actual Gas Mask, since the sizes for the filters are way too big to be the Pyro's mask.
