Making TF2 Run Faster?

Is there any way to make TF2 run faster without a new graphics card? I'm currently using Where can I find my graphics information? It's an NVidia, but I can get the specifics if you tell me how...

Personally when I find a game running slow, I literally terminate ANY process that windows will let me. Except for any svchosts.

I found that having any animated advertisements in the background will really slow it down.

I do this already. Should I get a new graphics card, or is there an easier/cheaper way?

Well, what is it? A FPS problem or just a connection problem?
Try different servers or just join some with a lower player rate (7 vs 7 etc.).

It's an FPS problem. Definitely not a connection problem, as I have never lagged out.

You could start by posting your system specs, tf2 is sort of graphically intensive.

You can use a tool such CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php) to find just about anything about your computers specs.

Yea you can with cpu-z

Instead of downloading some tool you'll never use again, use one your computer already has.
