I am kind of confused how he didn't realize there was an interview going on within range of his computer, did he think like "maybe the camera can't see my comp" and actually take the risk instead of waiting 2 minutes? Or was he just completely zoned out?

Also you can tell the bald guy in front of him moved there just to get on T.V and is just standing there acting like he is working as he glances at the camera every now and then.
