Author Topic: (BLS2OBJ) Blockland Save Renders -Image Heavy-  (Read 19420 times)

I'm thinking of making a blockland development kit, with scripting/mapping/modeling documentation, resources, brick modeler (importing and exporting of popular formats), torquescript editer and a project manager with an automatic packager all inside an application. If I were to make it I'd probably charge $1, but its just a concept.

This is quite a brilliant idea. I'm interested. :D

Here's some of my first test renders.

I had to cut it in half to export it correctly, much like moving a real house.
End product is well worth it.

Because of the textures I'm finding it hard to create realistic lighting, shall do soon after some tinkering.
I need to get some projection skills back I think.

If anyone has some small saves I'd be happy to render them around my house.
Wait, so those are real?

This my house rendered without doors check it out it's preety good maybe page stretch..

This means people can make vehicles out of their builds. Not in game though.

Aggree! But we must make like huge weapons?OR huge vehicles?or they will result in mini cars hahaha

This makes me very sad that Blockland doesn't have dynamic shadows.

I wanted this for a while now.

I wanted this for a while now.

Shadows would add to epic lighting. A lot.
