No one knows. Stop loving arguing. Those who believe some omnipotent and all important being(s) created the Earth don't know that he/she/them did for fact, but only want to believe it.
People who believe that the Big Bang or something related to science or whatever created the earth don't know it, but bring up a simple thing like a pebble that was 'there when it happened' don't know for sure.
