Not if they have a genetic problem. If you have a kid with downs, the reaction is rarely, "You've got a genetic problem, but you should be proud of it because it's who you are." Instead, the common response is: "You have a problem in your genes, and you need help to work around it to have a normal life." Why does it seem to be reversed in the case of gays?

Because Homoloveuality is not a "Genetic Problem". But then I guess being too masculine is a genetic problem too, right? Or too feminine? Women being too Masculine or too feminine all have a genetic disorder!

Personally, I don't think that genetics have anything to go with being gay. I think it's a decision made by the individual. However, many people seem to think it's a genetic problem, so I threw that out there for them.

I've heard that turning gay was a new life style.

Some guys think other guys are "handsome" or "hot" when they are straight, but they never say it.  We can use VH as an example, crossdresser y0.. Some of us find him attractive (not saying he is gay or not)

If a man loses his legs, his normal response is to find a way to work around it. In general, people try to work their way around any disabilities they have. However, gay people show the opposite reaction. They seem to show distinct pride in their "abnormality".

My conclusion is that, for whatever reason (attention, being hurt by the opposite love), people choose to be gay.

My school has GSA gay straight alliance club. Only gay people and progay people join, mixed in with some biloveuals and spanish people. Then they pay the rest of them to go there to make it seem like a real club.
