My shepard attacked a possom, bit it once, then me and my came out and brought the dog in.  Now my dad killed the possom, and he wants to get rid of our dog.  
Reason: It got a taste of blood, and will want to bite other things
Really, dumbest thing I've ever heard.  My dad already abused our tea cup poodle, he throws wood at it and kicks it.  And it does nothing to him, but nips at him for self defense.  He torments with her enough that we had to give her away.  Now he wants to get rid of my dog, the German Shepard.

I believe those are grounds to have your dad arrested for animal cruelty.

She is huggable, her name is Hunter.  My Dad tells her to protect the yard.. Funny, how she bit a possom right now and he is at the edge with her.

my dogs have tasted blood so many times. my blood, their own blood, birds, cats... you name it.

none of the times have they made any hostile actions after it. i guess it just might depend on the dog
