For some time now, me and my brother have been working on a Custom Robo adaption for Blockland. If you don't know what Custom Robo is, you should look it up. It's a great game.

In Custom Robo, you have three types of weapons.

The gun: Self explanatory. Guns shoot in different patterns/styles.

The bomb: Fires a missile or bomb.

However, it's the third type of weapon that is unique. The pod. When the pod is fired, it deploys what can be called a "smart bomb". Pods will either travel around slowly or stay in place until an opponent is nearby, then seeks out and explodes near the enemy.

To balance the weapon, the max pods that can placed at once should be no more than 3. (Normally two if the bomb has strong homing)

So, for anyone looking to create an original weapon, I'm throwing this out there. Discuss usefulness/possibilities below.

I'd love to see this, but what you're talking about is some pretty complicated stuff. Well... I guess you could mod the landmine to home within a certain range...

I hated that Seal-head robo. XD It would always mess up my scores in tournaments.

I think people could have a lot of fun with this. Once a basic pod is made, other people could make different models and explosions to make all kinds of different pods. Hopefully someone will like this idea and pick it up.

Space guy made a homing rocket, so I can't see why this can't be made.

Well, the homing can't be infinite-range. It's supposed to wander around and then attack when a target (someone who didn't fire it) gets within a certain range. That's a deal to ask from a projectile...
