It's not 500 bucks of pure profit, If he sells the account and wants to play still, he has to pay about 100 bucks for the game and all the expansions, and he has to pay 15 bucks a month, and he has already paid like 45 for 3 months and 150 for the account. Also he sucks so he will never have any good gear, he is just a handicapped kid. In his case there will be no profit.

Holy stuff, yes, finally. I've been wanting to try this game since I've heard of it. 1$ is a small price to finally try this game out. But, I will have to get my new graphics card first. Anyone have a list of specs?

The game was started like 10 years ago, you really don't have to worry about a powerful gfx card, it is pretty out-dated graphics wise but graphics never stopped me from liking a good game so let's hope.

Regardless, it's really not worth the amount of effort. If he hasn't hit 80 yet, then he won't have time to get the best end game gear. I also said the most, meaning he would need very good gear. To put things into perspective, for one month during the summer I raided with an end-game raiding guild at twelve to three every day. After that month I had acquired somewhat good gear. I didn't have full tier and I was using older rings and the like.

Decent gear isn't that hard to get in this game anymore, amazing gear is though. You're looking at heroic raiding, something only the more hardcore raiding guilds accomplish effectively. These guilds don't let just anyone in.

To top it all off, the rate at which new content is added makes having the best gear of the time hard to get. New raids are always added with better loot. Pre-WotLK this wasn't a problem, but they've been making it easier to get caught up. It literally took me a week of casual heroic dungeons to get full T9 gear, with other good epics in between.

He would need to hit 80, get decked out in the current best gear, and then sell the account before Cataclysm is released.


Anyways, he shouldn't even really mention what he is doing because it is against Blizzard's EULA.

In 2 days my priest went from blues to full emblem gear and even did 10m ICC up to princes and got 2 251 items, yea it is pretty easy now, he has a 5.1k GS with under 2 days play time at 80.

But my graphics card isn't outdated, its lacking. My tiny ass computer has integrated graphics, gma 3100. I'm pretty sure thats bad. It's especially bad because it has no T&L, AND several games aren't compatible with intel graphics. Lugaru, angle of attack, zero gear, fallout3, all of them don't even start. I need to find a decent card that's small enough to fit. If it doesn't fit I have to cut a big hole in my case and get some plastic to cover it up :I

Btw, anyone willing to measure their decent graphics card so I can see if it fits? I'm pretty sure I have a pci-e slot, or agp :I

just looked it up, pretty sure its pci-ex16, the one with the L shape that secures it.

I dunno how small you are talking about, I mean would an 8800 fit? Just get one of those for cheap and they still will run any game out that I know of.

I played this game for about 7 months and just recently stopped.

This game is interesting because it's one of a kind. Doesn't make it good at all.

You will spend 4 months of your time on this game just grinding to get anywhere near fighting capability... even more if you arent glitching and bugging out mobs.

Trust me.. all anyone does is bug out the mobs or abuses spawns in some way..

You will get constantly killed non stop.

The game gets very very very old quickly.... you'll find the game being more of a chore than fun.

Wish someone could of told me before i started playing and kept saying to myself oh it'll get better shortly... still the same crap.

If you know anything about darkfall you'd know that i was the Queen of Duchy of Weslove in the final reign. After Weslove fell i was given Long March and turned it into Freehold and gave it to Maverick Darkhaven to govern.


If you have no idea what i'm talking about right now Madmitten then you yourself have no idea what you are talking about. I played Darkfall from day 1.

Just the fact that you said i have no idea what i'm talking about when i mentioned all strong points that are obviously wrong with the game proves how much of a dumbass you are my friend. If anyone else here actually plays Darkfall they can 100% back me up on what i said.

Darkfall isn't for carebears and I've yet to hear a hardcore female gamer, so yup.

Also grinding is no more, and if you still call it grinding, well at least its fun to grind with intelligent AI and mini-bosses and whatnot
