Does censoring L4D2 work? AND L4D1?

Found a way. In steam you can select Properties on L4D2 and in launch options type in "-lv".

There is no low violence version of L4D1. The low violence for L4D2 was made because L4D2 has more amounts of gore in it than L4D1, and countries like Australia and Germany didn't approve of it. So in order to sell the game in Australia and Germany, they made L4D2 have a no-gore version. In it, bodies disappear when they die. Static dead bodies (dead bodies that were always dead and just part of the scenery) are less detailed.
