How to completley wipe a computer for selling?

So I have a tablet laptop I'm about to sell (Any one interested )
And I need to wipe all the research credit cards and documents, Basically just the whole thing!

I don't have any disc's.
Any programs you guys know of?

There is a way?  The police make sure you don't know this, ( deletingchild researcho and stuff) ..

What you should do here is to open a window of notepad. Enter

FORMAT C:
(INFORMATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY)
and save the file as disk_destroyer_basic.bat.

It would be nifty to install Linux on there.  it may even run faster.

And just change things to default settings.
