And as for the intel stuff, with a 750 you would have room for expansion. With AMD the fastest processor out right now isn't even up to par with the i5. It's worth the extra $20 and you could get an i7 in the future.

Without the monitor and HDD that's something like $830. If you want to save more money you could use more combos.
