I'm beginning to think you're just attention whoring with that statement. From my perspective, Emer isn't a common name. Emerson is a fairly common name; it is also a fairly well noted name because of Ralph Waldo Emerson, one of the great American writers.

It is more likely that Emerson based his name from Ralph Waldo Emerson, seeing how Emerson (the writer) wrote about actions and philosophy of rebellious nonconformity, something our Emerson seems to mirror.

Go back and re-read. I don't post in size 8 to annoy people. I do it because I enjoy the way it looks. When people started flaming me for it, I decided that I would continue to type in such font size instead of giving in to several peoples demands. Although this would have been cool, because I love the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson, this is not why I named my forum account this. My last name is in fact Emerson. However kudos to you for thinking of this cool reason why I could have named my forum account Emerson :-D

At any rate, since the whole concept of Emerson's "war" as you put it has come into focus, there is a chance where an actual competitive scenario will arise; now people like Windfox who seem to absolutely revile Emerson will most likely remember his statement that he doesn't want to capitulate and will find all the more satisfaction by forcing him to submit to their standards, or in other words, people will start trolling over Emerson trying to get him to break under pressure. So as Emerson said before, since this topic was made he can't capitulate.
