BattleField: Bad Company 2

I went out and reserved a copy of BF: BC 2 tonight. It was a pre-release, limited edition thing, and the game's coming out tomorrow. I get a special gun (I think it fires ~680 shots per minute!), and a new game mode. Somewhere, though, I thought you also unlocked things such as a beacon pistol, which you shoot at vehicles to set a designator for RPG's, also secondary vehicle fire (I.E. a small gun on the tank barrel, etc.), and vehicle strength increase, more, and so on and so on forth. But at the store (GameStop), it only said the new game mode and the new gun. Anybody know anything about the unlocks/reserved a copy? Discuss.

Yeah, just whine and complain about things you have no idea about.

All of those perks are simply "day 1 advantages", and only temporary.  See, those perks are earnable by all of the people who didn't preorder, so eventually the playing field will be level.

Clearly you can't see that its not a one day perk, its a permanent thing we keep. Though if its earn-able by everyone then whatever I don't mind it as much.

Clearly you can't read posts correctly, because I obviously meant "day 1 advantages" as "by day 2 everyone else will have them".  I never said they would go away after day 2.  All of those perks are earnable by everyone else.
