My desktop has 3GB and it runs perfectly. You don't need much. Only like 1GB.

Flippin' huge bump.

How does Rainmeter work? I've been trying to get my weather onto it but I don't know how. It's really confusing D:

Sorry I'm late. When you run it, you should see a raindrop icon dooey in your daskbar, just right click that and you'll see some gadgets running already. If there is already a theme running, if it's not yours you might as well close the gadgets it's running. Just click them and hit "close skin". This may take a long time.

After you've got a new rainmeter skin, just go to the little raindrop dooey, go to Configs, find your new skin, and choose the part of it you want to have on the desktop (usually an Ini file.)

You should look at http://www.sharpe-shell.org
It's a desktop shell replacement for Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

I'm running XP, and my desktop looks similar to Windows 7. Only thing is, the effect only applies to the "toolbars"

I have used Rainmeter in the past, it is awesome.

My Linux Ubuntu 9.10 desktop looks like Vista! :O

Imo, this deserves to be bumped

For great justice!

You have made me realize my love for Gnome like themes.

Anyone know of a matching Winamp theme?

Unless you have 6 gigabytes, like me, and then you're okay!

how do i be as cool as you?

Very nice. You'll have to look around on Customize.org or something

Remove BumpTop. You can't download it anymore unless you find a mirror

Might as well post my laptop desktop here too.

Google brought bumptop, Which means we can expect awesomeness soon.
