I realize this is definately not the place to be asking for advice, but I had nowhere to turn to. You see, I am an Athiest. I have been for quite some time, and my family is Mormon. They make me go to church with them every loving Sunday. I hate it. What should I do?

Note: If this even starts to become a religion war, I will lock.

stay home, tell them you are athiest and will not convert back.
and run-a-muck whenver you get there

If I ever had to choose a religion, I would have to choose Mormonism. Tell your parents you don't share their beliefs, and do not wish to practice their religion.

to them, poop = sin :cookieMonster:

Don't be a richard about it. Just calmly sit them both down and respectfully tell them that you don't share their beliefs and you don't want to keep going to church.

The Mormons are as strict as can be. "No girlfriends till 18."
"No cool stuff till 18"
"No parties till 18"
"Respect your family and learn good stuff every day."

Black people can't own land.

Explain to your parents you don't hold those beliefs and wish not to take part in such practices, and, if you must go.....

You could........listen? Sure, you may not believe in the whole God thing, but that isn't all that is touched upon. If you listened, there are often quite some interesting things. Interpret the religion as a number of morals and beliefs. You don't have to believe them, but it helps to give you a more worldly outlook. Plus, you may believe one or two morals there.
