SimTower: The Vertical Empire is a construction and management simulation computer game developed by OPeNBooK Co., Ltd. and published by Maxis for the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS 7 operating systems. It was released on December 31, 1994 in the United States. The game allows players to build and manage a tower and decide what facilities to place in it, in order to ultimately build a five-star tower. Random events take place during play, such as terrorist acts that the player must respond to immediately.

Got to 5 stars yesterday, went to place a cathedral and the game crashed on me without an error. Last save I had was before doubling the size of the tower. :/

Can't seem to get it to install properly. Tried it earlier and it's like "nofu". Oh well.

If it's from the CD, I heard it doesn't work on anything newer than XP. Try the DL:

Have you tried running it in Windows 98 compatibility mode?
