AVP blackscreen problem.

After buying AVP on Steam for 49.99 and started up alien campaign. After seeing the laggy as hell video and waiting 5 minutes for the game to load I start hearing the humans and seeing the instructions plus I see the crosshair but nothing else.

For those of you who want to know i'm using windows XP with a RAEDON X800 PRO/GTO as my video card.
Right now i'm trying various solutions.

Yea Marcem is right, your graphics card is way below the minimum requirements for the game.
