Lego Island

Lego Island 1 topic too old.
Discuss the coolness that was, here.


Trying to run Lego Island 1 on my laptop and desktop. Desktop just crashes on launch, laptop launches but everything but moving things and non-static objects (i.e. Infomaniac and icons that are hovered over) are all a light blue color.

Can anyone help?

Already tried. Disabled visual themes, run as admin, etc. Everything. Does NOT work.

I had this problem before, I forgot what I changed but I did something in the graphical options to get rid of that.

As far as I remember, I put the disc in and I start the game. And when it shows the different menu with that funky song playing there was some options I think and uhh... That's as far as I can get. I'm checking to see where to fix this again online.

I remember seeing a 4-in-one LEGO disk at walmart which included LEGO Island, LEGO Island 2, LEGO Racers and LEGO Racers 2 for 15$ and it said on the back that it works with Windows XP.

This was only like three months ago.

Also, I think Lord Tony is making a LEGO Island 1 map for Blockland.

Yeah I got LI2 for XP but the LI1 I got was off of eBay for $5.

chnage the graphics in "configure lego island" different settings work different dePending on what computer you use

No, it was like a disk that had all of the games on it.

It was all made to work with XP.

You mean direct3D devices?

Edit: Worked. Test all the display methods until it starts working. One will not work, one will work but crash, one will work but be ugly and one will be unknown.
