I don't know, I muted mine shortly after using it for the first time. You have to be within 5cm and have the tops pointing at each other for them to connect anyway.

I am legitimately using Lv1 Togepi to beat a Lv4 Hoothoot because it's a loving moron who has used Foresight for the past 10 turns
