Everyone has opinions. I played Fire Red the first time and it sucked ass. The plot was stuffty and the fetchquest thing at the beginning sucked.

Pokemon has an actual plot. Though it's not deep, it's still a decent plot. I consider RSE's plot to be the best. GSC's plot is utter stuff IMO.
