There are many mods. The ones with Madness Day '07 or '08 aren't mods, just games based off of the madness game and celebrate some day celebrating the game. The game is based off of a series of videos, 1 to 7 or 8 I think. Many of the mods are good, which comes with even more that suck.

What's visual mod?

Also, all have same experiment mode. Only 1 that I know of, a HL2 mod, has a different experiment mode background. The differences in mods are guns, features like optional silencers and laser sights, which exist, and in options, character things.
