I found this guy named "Commando Bob" in a server. He had ARES clan tags. Claims a "Sir Guy" accepted him into ARES.

There is some other clan full of forgettards named "ARES"(for the greek god of war) that's a DMing clan or some stuff. I saw sir guy on a server with the tags set as ION and ARES. When I told him he wasn't in the clan, he explained that ARES was "his clan he made" and he was "ninja rank". I decided that ARES was bound to be the name of several clans and passed it off as just a coincidence. I then asked him about his ION tag, and he simply said "He wanted to be in it".

I still think it's kind of ironic that his two tags were ION and ARES even though ION was renamed ARES.

ARES has a meaning though, completely unrelated to the greek gods.

Argos Rho Expeditionary Starfleet. Com wanted to rename the clan from Intergalactic Organizational Network or whatever.
