Okay seriously, the last time I got banned I didn't say why I was leaving. This is a vacation with my parents. It's different. Besides, I'll still be posting on the forums while I'm there, so I'm not "leaving the forums" by any means at all.

Because the guy making the alt can see that everyone expects alt-makers to have spotted the correlation between creating "Hi I'm New" topics and the alt getting caught and would therefore expect the alt-maker not make a topic to not draw attention to themselves, so by making a topic they're doing something people expect someone with an alt not to do (because it would get them caught) and therefore dispel any possible suspicion that they were an alt.
