"Someone saying they hate gay people but they are gay is a paradox." - Nope.
Explain.
A paradox is (as defined by wikipedia) a statement that leads to a contradiction. You can be gay and hate gay people, just as you can be a person and hate people (see: Misanthropy) - it's not a paradox. A paradox would be "This statement is false."
It's a paradox by standard. One saying they hate gay people, while being gay themself, is contradictive. Hypocrisy is a simplification.
Assignment for this topic: Try and evaluate the situation without automatically siding with the poster of the drama thread. Don't be taken in by Lalam's biased presentation of evidence.
