Since Fallout is awesome, and there are no active topics to be found, I figured I'd make one.

I think it's awesome but at times kind of difficult. I myself can't wait for Fallout: New Vegas, releasing in Fall 2010.

Discuss Fallout and it's awesomeness, favorite weapons, hardest creatures, quests, ups, downs, etc.

Old fallout was better, I really hope that New Vegas doesn't have stuffty FPS mechanics and more re playability.

I personally like the change from a top-down RPG to a first-person/third-person RPS.

They're including anew Hard Core mode with dehydration and stuff. Also they're implementing a renewable source of mass destruction + Weapon Mod Kits.

I still wouldn't like it. I knew nothing of the previous Fallout games before playing Fo3 and I didn't like it. I found out about Fallout 1, 2, and tactics through Fallout 3 though.

I personally have never played the first ones, but they seem good, it's just a different Genre of game now.
I use lotsa mods to extend my games replayability, such as Destruction 6.1, Fellout, WMM, and a bunch of custom quests.
