Author Topic: The Grape Escape  (Read 1952 times)

So I finally get my state taxes back and for some reason I was nostalgic on games I used to play as a kid. Well one of those games I actually found on eBay. It's called the Grape Escape, and to best sum it up, you are little play-doh grapes that are trying to get through a wine factory without being squished, mooshed, or otherwise chopped in half. Of course the only real reason I played the game was to deform play-doh grapes, but who wouldn't?

Here is an advert on the game plus a couple of pics of the game board.

My friend bought a pound of weed. I told him he's a loving moron.

It looks similar to mouse trap, and therefore it looks fun.

It pretty much is only you get to mutilate the mouse. heh heh >:)

Second, this thread is about alcoholics, not pot heads, let's keep it focused people! =p

Finally received the game in the mail and I'm so anxious to play it! Had to buy more play-doh because the original Play-doh it came with was hard as a rock (Understandable for a game from 1992 lol) Will try to take pics when it's finally set up and how often those poor grapes are mutilated. >:)

I remember that. Always wanted it.

I bought mine off of eBay. They're not so easy to find in a completed state so mine ran around $25 for the game, another $11 just to ship it. It didn't come with instructions or enough rubber bands to set it up, but those are trivial as the company supplies the rules and instructions and my grandma had a surplus of rubber bands.

I was surprised it came with the original play-doh though. As I mentioned it's all crumbled hard lumps and dust now, but I suppose the seller wanted to send the canisters for nostalgia and completion sake. But I bought some extra play doh so that I can actually play the game when my lil sis comes over tomorrow. Let her get a taste of how fun it was to be a kid in my era. lol

Colors I have now are Blue (close enough to green) Purple, and Black (watch some tribal remark break out lol) I was hoping to get the original green, purple, and Red, but Walmart sucks like that.

I read this as "Ape Escape" :(

anyway, this game looks pretty cool
