What roller coaster tycoon is best?

i heard people hated the 3rd one. why is that?

and what all expansions does the best one have.

I think it got crappy when it took a leap into 3d

the third one is the best because you can make deep pits and launch roller coasters in there and they explode and its funny
or have a road seperetaed from the rest of the park and make an upside roller coaster land from up above there even more fun

The two expansions for the third were neat.

The third was boring, the graphics were ugly and the gameplay wasn't as polished as the first two.

The second one was okay, but it ran out of ideas after awhile, and some of the special park themes were eye-sores.

The first one was the best in my opinion, an abundance of ideas, polished gameplay and beutiful pixel graphics, I'd advise you get RC1 and the expansion Loopy Landscapes

Yes I have owned all three and their expansions before you ask.
