Well if I had to pick between DS and DSI, DS pwns the DSI. DS can use Cyclo DS and it can play GB games. So If I were you, buy yourself a DS. And get Cyclo DS for it and get games for free. For those cheap people out there...

I have a DS, DSi and for good measure a GBA and Game Boy Colour.

Was 5 when the GBC came out, got a lime-green one for mah birfdey :D

I don't really care for not having the gba slot with the DSi, it's more of what the system does.

Of course, i have the lite version, and my sister has the awesome silver first version, PLUS the super-super rare  Metroid Prime Hunters demo that came free with the DS for a few days after it's release.

I found it really hard to play so I gave up and put it in my games box :c
