Canyons map

Is this map supposed to end at some point or loop? I've found that at one point it eventually just ends abruptly.

Yes it is supposed to do that.  I tried for a long time to get it to "loop" or Tile - but my map software would not cooperate.  But as it turns out, the map is plenty big for what I want.

Is this becoming one of the most overpraised/overrated maps of all time?
I mean, the one of the only reasons i've seen why this map is so great is since it's "Useful for TDMs".
