That's exactly what I said today in TF2:

"Sure, just give away your sticky launcher, it's not like that defines your entire existence on the defensive team". That's for people that use the targe, I use the sword, but using the targe with it gives away your defensiveness :c

There is only demomen. Targeidiots are not demomen. They are a cancerous boil on the ass that is demomen.

Chargin' Tardge was a pointless addition. The Eyelander was fine, every class before him (excluding spy/sniper) got a new melee weapon, but it shouldn't have to rely on the Tardge to be useful.

I don't see how its pointless. Just about all of the demoman deaths are because he can't get out of stuff because he got a rocket to the face or some stuff. I see the Targe as a way to get out of a situation or just get to places faster.
Scot resistance is more useless than it IMO. You have to be seriously responsive to where your stickies are in order to use them right and no mid-air stickies is lame.

Lol, spy owns the Demo is so may ways. If they are charging you, just Ambassador them in the head twice, they can only move straight and it's an easy shot. You can also use the dead ringer to kill them. Seriously, people think that they are invincible when they are using the targe.

I always hated the demoman for being the most overpowered class now it's even more so cause there's a bunch on a server running around just trying to kill people only with their swords

Personally, I am always the spy.  If not the demoman. If not that the sniper.

Spy can kill anyone.

The eyelander and shield thingy ruined the demomans purpose. Demo, short for demolition. If valve was going to give him that stupid sword they should have renamed him to the swordsman, or scotish highlander.
