Hello, back at ya.

Hello, what did you do?
Hello, I screencapped it.

You liberals really piss me off. You think that anyone that has an idea contrary to yours is a dumbass hick that was brainwashed by conservatives.

Even if you are right, you don't need to be a douche about it.

Rebut this, inv3rted; because people can't be turned down by health care companies because of pre existing conditions, people will drop their insurance plans until they are sick enough that they need it. The insurance companies have to take the sick but aren't getting money from people that they aren't paying for. The premimums go way up, the government sets up a public option that doesn't need to make a profit so it drives all the insurance companies out of business and then we have a single payer healthcare system.

ITT: Conservatives get pissed :cookieMonster:

because people can't be turned down by health care companies because of pre existing conditions,

But they can. And they have been.

To be quite honest, I don't really much care. To me, the health care bill makes sense, maybe not this one in particular, but one undoubtedly. And they do still have time to amend this one, you know, that power we have.

I look at it like this: no one complains about retirement, or social security, because everyone likes that, well this is the same thing. Plus, if it doesn't work, you change it. Still doesn't work? Then get rid of it. It's about trying new things and seeing what works and what doesn't.

It's what FDR did, it's what Obama's doing, and it's what should be done. Now I agree that this bill shouldn't have been rushed the way it was, and more time should have gone through. However, all the debacle that's gone on about it, maybe this is just their way of putting their foot in the door, and will make it better as we go along.

sirrus is entirely right.

i don't agree with the bill. yeah, i watch fox news, so what? i also occasionally chip into msnbc or cnn to hear some of their stuff.

i think the fact of the matter is, most of the liberals on these forums have such a big epeen that any other opinion is folly. we get you have facts; cramming into our eyes isn't going to change anything lol

Hooray for independent party.

The party that George Washington wanted.

Almost as contradicting as the Anarchy party.

Independent party is kind of like alternative music: It's everything that isn't already a major thing. For example, I'm a Libertarian but I would almost rather register as independent than align myself with any particular party.

Have you even read the bill?

No one has read the loving bill, it's 2,400 of legalese.

All of our arguments are based on whatever bill summary we trust to be the most accurate and basing strong opinions on what might not be the entire or 100% accurate truth.

Have you even read the bill?

it's 2310 pages. of course not. That is where part of the fear comes from. What legislation was passed in the parts people DIDN'T read? also, i'm pretty sure fines are going to be enforced if you don't have insurance.

yeah, i watch fox news, so what?

Haha. See, over here in the UK it is literally a joke. You guys are in some weird bubble where you don't seem to understand how truly messed up Fox News is.
